Alise spends the night!!!

Lauren kicks it with Alise.....Alise is the oldest of 6 children so we got to spoil her rotten while she stayed with us. She is such a sweet, polite, and beautiful young woman!


They even let Gavie crash the party for a while. They painted his fingers, toes and make-upped him to a beautiful little boy!!!

Kids get a new bathroom!!!!

The story behind the map.
Okay, so Justin flying to Germany opens the SkyMall magazine and sees a 11'x14' map of the world. Who would need a map that big? I'll tell you. MY HUSBAND!!! He suggested that I buy the map and place it on our LIVING ROOM WALL to show the kids a life size view of where Daddy is. IRAQ. Okay. So then a few days later I'm in Target and I see.....yep you quessed it. A HUGE map of the world as a shower curtain. I got it as a joke but actually it's turned out pretty nice. I drew circle around Indiana and then one around Iraq and drew an arrow to connect them, as shown in the picture, so the kids (and Justin) could see where Daddy is at......LONG STORY SHORT.....Justin, here you go!


Papa came over and painted the kids bathroom so we could put up a LARGE map for Daddy.

This one is the funny one...I have a sick sense of humor!

Yes we ate here...and loved it! Best BBQ in the world all done right in front of you. Very chic as the French would say. See the grill to the right? That's it. You order at the window and she yells at him to make something and then you wait a few minutes and your off and running. P.S. the sign says B&B BBQ....that isn't even it's name. Indiana Beach with the Hatke Family!

Gavin enjoyed the beach. However, he said the water was too cold and wanted to stay on shore eating his crackers. All fine and dandy until I realized the reason for his love of the shore.....13 year old girl in a itsy bitsy teeny weeny multi-colored bikini right next to him. The little perv couldn't keep his eyes off of her!
